Build something, deploy it on Synteq Apps, and tell X about it.

How to enter

1. Deploy your app so it answers at https://<name>.synteq.app. Custom domains don't count for this one.
2. Quote our announcement post on X from your own account, telling people about your app. Plain posts, replies and reposts can't be entered. Put the app link in your quote post, or in your own direct reply to it.
3. Paste your quote post's URL on the leaderboard. We'll read the post, check it quotes the announcement, find the link, and check the app is live. A post with no link in it or in your direct reply can't be entered.

How votes count

Every 15 minutes we re-read each post's public counts and score it:

(likes × 1) + (replies × 2) + (reposts × 3)

• Views are ignored. They're too easy to game.
• Submitting a repos has its own, empty counts.
• Rank arrows on the board compare with 24 hours ago. The line in each row is the last 24 hours of score.
• You can refresh your own entry's counts from the board once every 5 minutes, between the regular reads.

Picking the winners

When entries close, the 10 highest scores on the board go to a public vote in a thread on our X account. That vote decides the top 3 and their order. The board's score only decides who makes the 10.

Prizes

First place takes the DGX Spark and $2,500 in Synteq credits; second takes a Boring Company flamethrower and a $500 gift card to Snake River Farms, plus $1,000 in credits; third takes $250 at Chipotle, a tin of Zyns and AirPods Max, plus $500 in credits. Winners are contacted through the X account that entered.

Limits

• The post has to be public and stay up. A deleted or protected post keeps its last counts and stops gaining.
• Bought engagement, bot rings, or entering an app that isn't yours gets the entry removed without notice.
• To receive a prize, you must be legally eligible to receive it based on where you live and your age. If you aren't, an alternative prize will be awarded.
• When entries close, scores freeze at that moment.
• We may disqualify any entry at our discretion.
